i’ve had the same problems. every time i use a new product it makes things worse and i feel like a dope for wasting my money. i’m actually using Crisco right now, after a shower, less than a dime sized amount. it’s a bold move for an acne prone girl, but hey, what can you do?

I’ve had acne prone skin for about 15 years now. Proactiv Solution was great at first then it just stopped working after about a year. The only thing that has helped me has been the information and products I found at acne.org.

i woulddd reccomend tryiing not to picckk at it. even if its hard nott too.

on ur face u shold try steam. by boilign some water for 10 mintues.
you shoudl try some oatmeal facials for your face once a week.

afterward, rinse with very cold water. put some moisturizer on after wards

Another thing, exofilaite with cleansing pads everyday.

try not to use so many things at once. because you will over dry skin making things even worse.

This little trick has been in my family for awhile. It is like an ancient chinese secret type of thing. Before you go to bed take some crisco and rub it all over your face. it get deep in the skin at the sources of the acne and it will almost be all cleared up the next day.

I have had acne for most of my life and truly the best thing out there is Ivory soap. Twice a day, morning and night, is wonderful.

Now I recently purchased the mini xeno and have really liked the results on the more stubborn acne. It destroyed the pimple within hours. I couldn’t believe it! My best product is now the xeno. They offer your money back and it was well worth $85. I didn’t use it right the first few days and I messed up the counter so it’s not counting down! Not a bad thing since replacements cost so much! But the right way is to hold it on the zit for about 2 minutes. It leaves it slightly red but by morning the redness and the zit was gone and a few 90% gone.

My son has been to a dermatologist for his acne and the ivory soap works well. The doctor says it is the purest soap and recommends it as well. My son is non-compliant with the prescribed antibiotics and even had a severe respiratory reaction with one of them. So you can’t blame him for not wanting to use it. He refuses to try the xeno but I love it. He does have really large cysts on his shoulders and the ivory doesn’t help those at all.

The xeno doesn’t work for blackheads though, so I se the blackhead eraser for that. I also found a white mask years ago at Sallys made by “Beyond Belief” called Clean Pore Nose Peel and it is great also. It’s only five bucks.

It sucks having pimples…..

Yea ive had this problem too. For me it was all hereditary, lots of my cousins, aunts, and uncles had it. Honestly I never found a cure, I just fought it best I could and tried not to let it bother me. I would see a dermatologist or pick something up at the store which contains salicylic acid(acne treatment) or triclosan(anti-bacterial). Although for me salicylic acid treatments didn’t cure acne on my chest or back.

I like proactive because after using their face wash, you also have their toner and lotion to nourish your skin.

The best acne treatment is whichever one you can find to treat your particular case. Everyone is different when it comes to acne treatments. What may work for me, may not work for you. If you are unable to find a suitable treatment, contact your dermatologist.

Stick to natural remedies instead of using chemicals.

SO use things like tea tree oil, sandlewood etc.

You should try a natural acne treatment to avoid skin irritation.
